Visit of Educational staff at the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics

Partners of Erasmus+ Project “Athena” from Czech Republic, Romania, Turkey and Hungary were hosted by the Department of Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics and the Intelligent Systems Lab on Monday, 13 May 2024. Coordinator of the Project is the 1st Primary School of Gorgopotamos. Three educators from Duga Resa, Croatia and 5 Educational staff from French Reunion participated as well.
The Head of the Department Ass. Professor Athanasios Kakarountas showed around the premises of the Department, presented the laboratories, the scientific projects and the research that is being conducted.
During the visit, the group was presented the Erasmus+ KA220 SCH Project “VR4Clima”, which is coordinated by the ISL Lab of University of Thessaly.
They were informed about the objectives of the project, the partner Organisations, the project results and the participants shared their contacts in order to be kept informed about the updates of the project.
